This does not tell you too much about the quality of the essential oil but sometimes you can judge that by the price. If it is much below the average essential oil price, you may be buying a lower quality oil. You can also pay much to much, 3-4 times the average price. In this case you may be overpaying for an oil that is not that much more valuable than the oil you can buy for a fair price at the health food stores. These oils sometimes are glamorously packaged, have much exotic writing about their abilities (claiming cures that are not realistic or not possible even) in which case I would stay away from these particular oils. Essential oils can do allot of wonderful things and are often used as a way of preventing illnesses and they can be a way of making one feel better when ill.
