The fourth is a light filtering tint. These lenses are designed for athletes or sports fans; enhancing ball color or making the ball stand out more. When color contacts first came on the market, I think they looked a little artificial. Only rigid hard lenses were available and you could definitely see the rim around the iris. Now they are making them so that they look more natural on the eye and it is hard to tell if the person is wearing them at all. Some would like to change the color of their eyes but they have 20/20 vision. These particular kinds of contacts are called plano and still must always be fitted by a professional. If they are not fitted by a physician, infection and permanent eye damage may occur. Always ask your doctor if color contacts could be good for you and your particular vision problems.
